Visitors

I thought about posting this yesterday, but as I'm not in the practice of being with the kids 24-7........let's just say I've learned to appreciate my wife even a bit more than I already do.

After, what seemed like a long but eventful morning, I went to go pick up John and Kelsey. They had both had a wonderful day of playing with friends, eating hot dogs, and watching Dumbledoor (That's actually what John calls Disney's Dumbo).

We, shortly there after, arrived at the hospital. John and Kelsey had been missing mommy somewhat and were excited to see her and "Baby Bekah not Baby Jecca". As a side note, that morning John was a bit distraught when Linda woke him up. He was fully expecting Bekah to be out before he woke up in the morning and was concerned that the doctor had not taken care of this little detail yet.

Macher arrived just about the same time. She had just gotten off work and headed straight for the hospital. All were excited to see the new addition to our family.

Kelsey was especially excited to have a new baby. She had been talked up about how this new baby was coming and was ready and willing to play her new role as big sister.

Although the kids interest in the baby soon lapsed when they found out that Mommy had crackers and Jello.

What can I say, my children are very priority oriented. However, this did give Macher some very special one-on-one time with her newest grandchild.
